Effective fisheries management is essential to guarantee the environmental sustainability of fisheries and ensure equitable development for all stakeholders involved in the fisheries industry, especially in the Pacific. This indicator expresses the value added of sustainable marine capture fisheries as a proportion of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
