Stat of the week : SDG 3.7.1 Met need for family planning, modern methods - female of age: 15 to 49

Submitted by linkadmin on

In Cook Island 76,2% of women aged 15 to 49 years old had their need for family planning satisfied with modern methods in 2021.

This is the percentage of women of reproductive age (15-49 years) who desire either to have no (additional) children or to postpone the next child and who are currently using a modern method of contraception. The provision of family planing services is necessary if we are to achieve universal health care.
