Triennial’s ‘Snakes and Ladders’ Side Event Maps The Advances and Pitfalls of Women’s Empowerment

An interactive and engaging 'WEE Snakes and Ladders' board game session focussed on strategic and practical measures to enhance WEE in the Pacific region. It showcased practical, successful approaches for empowering women economically, shared by Pacific practitioners and community implementers in Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu. The models are effective for replication and scale-up and can be used to inform national policy action and to improve practice and implementation.
