Pacific Women Papua New Guinea Performance Report - May 2016

Date modified: 2016

This Papua New Guinea (PNG) Pacific Women Shaping Pacific Development (Pacific Women) Performance Report draws together the activity level reports provided by the PNG implementing partners to provide aggregate country level Pacific Women reporting. The report covers the period from 1 July primarily to 31 December 2015. Where information has been available, it is included up to April 2016. The Australian Government established Pacific Women in 2012 as a 10-year $320 million program supporting the 14 Pacific Island Forum countries to make changes so that women in the Pacific, regardless of income, location, disability, age or ethnic group, participate fully, freely and safely in political, economic and social life. Each Pacific nation included in the program has developed a country plan to guide implementation.
