Climatic Study for Tonga : The activity aims to study the climate of Tonga and compares the wind and wave data for the Tonga area. The goal of the study is to find the correction factor that can be used to include the U.K. Met. office model data for wind and waves in the measured data series for the area. This study was part of the Norwegian assistance to SOPAC for the period 1992 -1993.
