Meet PNG’s Governor Julie Soso Akeke

At the third Pacific Women’s Parliamentary Partnerships forum, Pacific Women had the opportunity to meet with many of the Pacific women parliamentarians gathered for the three-day forum to discuss ways to address gender equality. Governor Julie Soso Akeke shares her experience of advancing gender equality in Papua New Guinea by being the first woman to be elected into Parliament from the Highland region.
