Pacific Women Support Parenting Program to Improve Wellbeing of Children in Papua New Guinea

Through Pacific Women funding, UNICEF in partnership with the Catholic Church Archdiocese of Madang, Chimbu and Mt Hagen and the Menzies School of Health Research in Australia, have been working with communities in PNG to improve parenting practices and support the wellbeing of children. They have recently piloted a Parenting for Positive Child Development program in targeted communities.
