Report prepared for Winrock as part of the REP-PoR policy study on ‘Policy Study on Regional Mapping of Options to Promote Private Investments in Alternative Energy Sources for the Poor’. This report also builds on and supplements the Pacific Island Renewable Energy Project (PIREP) Solomon Islands Report through the surveys and case studies as well as providing additional information regarding the links between energy access and poverty in the Solomon Islands.
