Tokelau Population and Housing Census 2022

The Tokelau Census provides detailed information about the entire population and dwellings of Tokelau. There is currently no other source of official data about Tokelau collected on the same scale. Collecting data to make decisions is a primary purpose for the census. Census data will be particularly helpful for policy makers to make decisions that benefit Tokelau. Time-series information can be used to compare 2016 Census results with 2011 and 2006 results. However, due to changes and additions to the latest census questionnaire, some time-series comparisons won’t be possible.
