Data Input: Settlement footprint from Palau 2020 Household Listing

Population allocated proportionally using 2020 census population counts at enumeration area level. Population grids generated by sex and 5 years old groups. Women in fertility age, youth and elder population groups have been included.

The human settlement footprint with population allocated has been converted into a ~100 m resolution raster.

Population projection carried out with the simplifying assumption that national rates apply evenly (without other subnational input data available, it is seen as appropriate for this exercise)
